Has anyone any experience of shipping to South Africa?

The whole experience seems more costly than is worth persevering with. I don't know if it's just me that finds this particular destination worse than anywhere else. It seems 50/50 at best that the item ever arrives.

If I correctly understood you mean shipping cost for delivery to South Africa is quite expensive, right?
We have also experience that delivery price to South Africa is so expensive. But I think the most important for clients is a prime cost. If client will have a good profit after all spending, I think he should be agree with delivery cost.
Also if client orders unique goods he can afford to spend more money on delivery to have big profit in his country
