They are just a way of showing how deep you are into TWF really. You get them mainly for reaching certain milestones for number of posts and numbers of likes.

    Coincidentally, Gary, so do I.

lynx, they are redeemable at your local McDonalds.

Take 10 and you can get a burger or shake.

25 will get a Happy Meal or Big Mac.

Great idea about points being redeemable - I have 133. I have no points anywhere else whether in real or internet life! :D

lol at "how deep". That sounds about right cos I'm very deep into TWF indeed! :D

Edit: Something is not right! I can't have more than Gary and Pete o_O

These have been talked about for years. They are basically useless and meaningless as this forum is configured. Glorified "likes" is about it, if even that.

    Mystery solved!

I didn't actually notice "points" till this thread today but, after a careful evaluation of everything that goes on here, I have come to the conclusion that we, women, must be given a head start by some obscure number of points simply because we are a superior creature. If in any doubt, please consult with your mum or your better half! :D

One other forum that I frequent don't have this "likes" button but there are countless times that I SO wish there is. Some wicked posts are worthy of "likes" and it makes the whole thing fun! :)

Thanks for the idea Gary! *lightbulb moment*
I'll see what Anthony can approve. Personally I've always wanted TWF stuff like pens but I could do with a coffee mug too! :D

I was hoping for something a little more extravagant. A Ferrari or jet airplane perhaps? :)
