I think it looks very well but to be honest, screenshots don't really do much for us to review. You should get something on demo for us.

It's ok but I personally would have gone with a white background, dark backgrounds are very out of fashion at the moment. Also more definition between products is needed.

I would say you are on to a great start. I would make it a bit lighter. It gets very dark in the 2nd half of the page. Light pages are the way to go in my opinion!

Thanks guys the support is magnificent here,
I agree the background needs to change. The logo is not standing out enough the station part.

What I would like is your opinions on how to improve it?? (other than background?)

I am pretty sure i'm missing some stuff as all i seem to have is newsletter, follow us and twitter. lol

Giving it a second look, it's very bloggy too - you don;t see many ecommerce sites with a layout where they just have 2 columns and the smaller one is on the right...

As above - looks great but a little dark, some of Stu's banners should be enough to remedy that :)

View the image direct and it looks better

As others have said its a bit dark so i would change the content area to White for some contrast against the background.

I am not sure your plans for the menu though, what will happen when someone selects "Games"? Will they get a side bar to help them narrow their selection?

Ahhhhhhhh now its only very large rather than epic large.

Right, I like it. I am actually a fan of dark sites.
However, it looks very dark and part of the reason is the background.
Think about lifting the background to a much lighter colour that will compliment the black body of the site.
Still needs a lot of tweaking on layout, make sure you leave plenty of room for promotional banner ads.
All in all a good start.

It needs some sort of solid footer, the current footer just blends in to the page too much.

Horizontal menu's look great in designs but lack the functionality of category boxes down the left or right.

    Nice 1 guys.

Yeah I have told the designer he need to put something on the left hand side lol. Also to brighten the background etc. Hopefully ahve a revised verson/new mockup later today :)

As to menus yes I would like the direct categories to be shown going along rather than someone clicking games then ps3. I would rather just have ps3 there.

    Thanks

Looking good - the newsletter and Twitter / Facebook boxes are a bit dark though. I suggest making them the same colour as the live chat box.
