What type of insurance do I need?

    Hey i have started a little jewellery company.

    Am thinking it may be worth getting insurance but what type do i need if any/ where should i look??

    If its in a public place, ie markets and stuff youll need 'public iiability' insurance I believe. Some will require, cant vouch to say about all or not though

    As per Dan's answer above you need to get public liability insurance if you are trading 'in public'... i.e. outside. You can get an annual policy for around £50.

    Join the market traders federation your joining fee includes insurance.

    Hey am only trading via ebay shop and just recently started my own website although no sales just yet. Was thinking i may need public liability for that?

    Do you make your own jewellery? If you do and there is a possibility that your items could damage or harm a person or property, then you might want to consider Product Liability Insurance.
