    Hi Everyone

This is my first post on here and would appreciate some advice.

Just to give you some brief back ground

Found Chinese supplier for electronics to ship to UK.
Completed due diligence ( 9 yrs on Alibaba, Trade assurance, site inspected/nothing noted on scam sites about the company etc).
Have received costs for initial order ( small less than $350).

My question is, what is the best way to pay to avoid bank/credit card charges as I am basically unsure what the transaction is classed as when paying via trade assurance for example on Alibaba with credit /debit card etc?
The supplier has not even suggested western union and is happy to pay via Alibaba, but its more expensive which is not surprising, and makes me feel more assured they are not out to scam me!

I have done a lot of research so far, re postage / duty costs /vat etc however its this step in the process that is making me want to lay down in a dark room, especially if/when the order value increases.

    Thanks in advance!
