jarmarc, I think it would help if you post the info as you can see quite a few people have placed

orders and there seems to be some fiasco going on at present. Maybe you can clear things up abit.

In the interest of clarification I'll post the genral points of what I was told. I'm only passing on what I was told, so please do not berate me if any of this turns out to be false as I'm only a messenger here.

According to the owner of Scott-Jones, he was associated with TNI Atlanta but left the company prior to them setting up the ATL website, the domain name of which he claims to own. He disputed the rights and was supposedly given the domain back which is why the domain forwarding to his new site, and most likely why the name change for ATL to A-Town. This may also be why the CC funds were frozen by the nerchant account for ATL.

He said that he merged the new company with his Mother's (who lives in Georgia, he lives in Florida, hence two of the three states) in order to have enough established credit history to gain a line of credit to fund his company start-up. CC orders apparently show as Heaven & Angel's Touch, which he says is the name of his Mother's company. I believe that he may have established a new corporation using the name TNI Atlanta, LLC to differentiate it from his former partners name which was TNI Atlanta, though not an LLC. A search of the GA database shows an error in the filing for TNI Atlanta, LLC, so no information is available on the company records. The timing of the corporate filing, 6/17,does appear to coincide with the newness of the company.

As to whether this is legit or not, I have no idea. The info he gave me sounds plausible, but it will be up to the rest of you to determine if you will trust it or him enough to place an order. I have not placed an order with Scott-Jones, though I have heard from at least one who has. I would be interested in knowing the outcome of the purchase if and when it completes.

I will personally call him prior to placing an order to clear up the Peoria connection, and clarify some other questions I have. If you have questions regarding anything other than the info that is listed here, I'm not the one to answer them. I appreciate the majority of what the forum has to offer, but we all have to handle our businesses ourselves, so any other questions should be directed to the people that can answer them directly.

The name Dwight Pearson matches the A-Town Wholesale Whois registrant contact info on Go Daddy, which is no surprise. The question is what do you do with the information? We know there was a connection between these different companies, but information is only worthwhile if it gets you the answers that you seek.

    Happy seeking!

Under the description column of the ps3, it says you can pre-order. Quit misleading.

It looks like Scott-Jones is changing their host website, but still has the ATL domain forwarded.

    Let's Clear the Confusion

    Hi,
My name is DeAngelo Scott - Jones. I'm President & CEO of Scott - Jones Enterprises, LLC. I'd like to take the time to clear up any confusion relating to my company. First and foremost, prior to the incorporation of S-JE, LLC, I was CFO of TNI Atlanta, Inc. and also 50% owner in the partnership. My partner Dwight Pearson and I got into a dispute regarding ownership rights which resulted in me leaving the company and the current civil suit for the value of the stock I owned in the company following its incorporation. S-JE, LLC is in no way affiliated with TNI Atlanta or their DBA of A-Town WHolesale Club. Prior to my separation from the company, I purchased the domain http://www.atlwholesaleclub.com, as the company was planning on launching a retail store and wholesale division. After leaving, Mr. Pearson begin using the domain without my permission and I quickly contacted GoDaddy.com to disopute ownership. After proving my case, the domain was transferred and sat dormant for a few days pending the completion of my temporary site by my webmaster. I launched the first storefront via Vstore.ca a few weeks ago, but was contacted by the RM department of my merchant account company who instructed that the company could not sell on a Canadian domain, which is why the new site launched today on our own domain. I order my products from three differnet supply companies, who generally have an excellent turn around time. Since my first launch, I have received many phonecalls and e-mails in relation to orders placed with A-Town that have yet to be filed and the bogus e-mails relating to the merchant account. I can tell you all from experience that whenever there is an issue with the merchant account, the first step they make you do is issue a return on all transactions. We found that out when we realized the the company we merged with, Heaven & Angel's Touch, only had a $30,000 monthly volume limit. Now that S-JE, LLC has its own merchant account, we have the ability to process higher volume transactions. I hope I have cleared any confusion surrounding my company. If there are any further questions please contact me at godschosen1@charter.net or at telephone numbers (888) 205-4128 or (404) 474-4273 (my direct office line). Thanks.

Mods - consider renaming earlier threads

In fairness to Mr. Scott-Jones and to clarify things for future visitors, maybe this thread should have it's name changed to A-Town Wholesale. Particularly if it winds up in name & shame it would be unfair to him to have his name besmirched by a company that was using his domain without his permission. WhoIs data that was posted earlier seems to confirm his story. Just a thought.

Has anyone ordered from the Scott-Jones ATL?

During this transition, we would like to ask that you use a different form of payment, such as check, money order. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience. We will notify you when our new Merchant account has been established.

    Heads Up

    Hello Everyone,
I just thought I'd drop in and inform everyone of the current ventures of SJE. We are no longer able to process American Express cards for the time being b/c of issues caused by ATL Wholesale Club and their previous use of our domain. I'm pretty sure that majority of you have chargebacks with their company. Apparantly thay own nearly $300,000 to AMEX which is why they are taking the precaution with our account until it is clearly established that we are in fact two separate and distinct companies. Pending confirmation of the processing limits being lifted tomorrow, we will begin processing VISA, MasterCard, and Discover transactions with an unlimited transaction amount. Also we are currently out of stock of the 4GB iPods Nanos, both black and white, but the other units are available. The company domain will be moving to http://www.sjellc.com next month to help remove any confusion and association with ATL Wholesale Club, ATown Wholesale Club, and TNI Atlanta. Thanks!!

Has anyone ordered from the Scott-Jones site? If so please provide details on your experience so far. The web site references a huge influx of orders - I have to believe at least some of that is from here.

The first order I placed never went through because at the time I placed it they had Discover as one of the payment options, but apparently were not fully set up to accept them, so the order was was never charged to my card. The replacement order for that was cancelled because of the Amex situation. I placed a third order yesterday using MC so we'll see what happens with that.
