Yodel collections suspended

    Just been told Yodel have suspended collections from 11th - 15th dec due to high parcel volumes.
    This is through despatchbay. So do not know if all other 3rd party booking sites have done the same.

    I use ParcelForce only, so will not effect me. But may be a problem for small value sellers who use Yodel

    Hermes had a fire too (no stock was damaged), had a couple of packages delayed last week.

    Was it a fire, or was it because they don't have the resources/capability because of black friday/cyber monday?

    Looks like they couldn't cope! I must have got mixed up with Hermes and yodel with the fire!

    I had only heard of the fire at Hermes, but looks like yodel are just struggling due to black friday

    Maybe it is because there couriers are being messed about with there payments again.
