    Hi there,
We are supplying UK's first 100%Natural Young Coconut Water in 210 ml glass bottles. Our case is almost 5 kg. What would be the most economical way to post it?

We also get orders for 10-20 cases? Any suggestions?

Thank you for the reply. We are looking into it. However, as its Young coconut water in glass bottles, couriers have issue with it!

We have the same issue with international deliveries. Its too pricey with Royal mail!

I'd of thought there are specialist couriers that would handle things like that?

My business is in the drinks industry so i know about the logistic side to it. Shipping glass is very hard, especially when the product is a case were the bottles can't be individually wrapped when i started i was having over 20% of my stock damaged. The only way to really send glass is on a pallet, get a contract with PalletWays as they let you send 1/4 Pallet's (Upto 250KG and 80cm high) for an average distance of 100miles you would pay around £35/£45 a shipment. For your smaller order's call up a few packaging companies and have them work with you to design and make your packing solution but this is costly and can run into thousands but honestly it's the only option. If you have to send cases the best courier company is unquestionably FedEx in my option, but even with them you have to prove that your item will not break hence the custom packaging is needed.

@jedi777 Your 100% correct, but they are very expensive more and aimed more towards 1998 Dom Perignon orders.

Thanks for the replies. Will check with Palletways. they seem reasonable. Which drinks do you deal in? We are fourth generation farmers and are supplying DCOCO 100% Natural Young coconut water in 210 ml glass bottles. It's of pristine quality and taste. <mod edit: removed advertising statement>

can you not give a tetra-pack option, you are really limiting yourselves sticking to glass, i prefer to drink direct from a bottle, but i dont care if it is from carton or bottle, if its going into a glass.

and who are DUCOCO, interesting niche m8.

Interesting Gary, DCOCO water will be available in different packaging options in future. Glass bottles retains the Natural Young Coconut Water nutritional benefits and the taste better. Try drinking DCOCO water from the bottle to feel the difference..
